Layered Glass Tile Panels

These glass tile panels are created by heating layers of crushed glass, glass rods, glass stringers, and pieces of sheet glass where the firing process alone can take over 24 hours. Each one is at least 1/2 inch thick. This technique of layering results in a unique three dimensional art piece full of unbelievable color. Each panel is displayed in a custom metal stand. 		Bird of Paradise This colorful tile creates a 3D "snow cone ice" effect. It vibrant color includes subtle shimmering iridized green crushed glass in addition to pieces of sheet glass which provide a sharp gradient of color saturation.
